We could not be more thankful to have a break from the blistering heat this week at Southern Lawn Service. We’ve enjoyed providing exceptional commercial lawn care to our Central Arkansas apartment communities, as well as putting together outstanding project work laying down plenty of sod on the landscape side of things.
The lack of rain paired with a long stretch of hot weather has brought grass growth to a halt. As a result, our crews have had the time to catch their breath and nail down some detail work — such as trimming, weed pulling, early leaf removal, etc. — that needs to be done. Don't worry, though, we are still cutting our fair share of green grass.
As we enter the fall season, we are gearing up to slow down the mowing and speed up the trimming of plants, mulching flower beds and removing leaves. There’s a lot more that goes into keeping a machine like Southern Lawn Service running year-round than just cutting grass.
Budgeting for 2027 is ongoing for many commercial clients, and we are fielding calls daily from potential customers requesting routine commercial lawn maintenance quotes. Our management team is diligently working to take care of those requests in a timely manner.
